Sophie Catalou is designed by our stylists in Barcelona who create this unique imaginative and cosmopolitan look for the little ones. Baby, boys and girls collections feature premium cotton fabrications and knits, exclusive prints and yarn dyes. All fabrics are treated to achieve maximum softness, comfort and easy care.

Our coordinated sportswear collection is divided into two labels: Sophie Catalou Baby (0-24M) and Girl (12M-12 years) and Kartoons Kataloons Boys (12M-6years).

Both collections feature premium 100% cotton fabrications and knits, innovative print, dyeing and techniques. All prints and yarn dyed patterns are exclusive to Sophie Catalou. All our garments are specially treated to achieve maximum softness, comfort and easy care.

 Once we posted our preorders, almost all of our Fall stock was gone before the product ever hit our shelves. Sophia’s grandmother had ordered her 2 dresses from the collection and she and I are now HUGE fans. The pieces were soft and wore well. Not to mention she looked like a little princess/angel/doll etc. etc. She looked exactly how the designers intended her and every other girl who wears their pieces to look and to feel when they wear such beautiful creations.

The price points allow moms and grandmoms to be heros and splurge on these special dresses that actually CAN be worn! Don’t be afraid to get these out of the closet and let your little sweetie wear them. Let them do double time for special events, pagents or Halloween..if the dress is so appropriate. About ‘i love gorgeous’…

ilovegorgeous was born out of a love of textiles, colour, fashion, our favourite country India, and of course having our own children.

Our first collection was put together in 2006 following an inspirational trip to India where we sourced hand blocked prints, wonderful silks and cottons, and pretty trims. We sold it purely through friends and home sales and the business was born.

That was our market research.

We launched ilovegorgeous as a brand in AW07. Our first collection was snapped up by Selfridges and many other wonderful boutiques across the UK and Europe. Since then we have  opened our flagship shop in Notting Hill gate as well as now being stocked in Le Bon Marche Paris and Barney’s New York.

Our aim is to provide beautiful clothes for gorgeous children. We love using unusual fabrics that move with the child. Moss crepe, viscose chiffon, silk chiffon, georgette and soft cotton voile. Unusual prints are teamed with a bit of sari fabric or a slash of gold lurex. A spray of net, a hint of lace or some retro ric rac trim.

 Since we have carried Luna Luna from the very beginning, we always try very hard to make sure that the styles that we choose to carry each season stay fresh and that they don’t start to look repetitive and a bit boring. We love when they bring us something fresh and new into the mix (i.e. new colorways, styles etc.)! So some seasons you may find lots of Luna at My Beautiful Sophia and some seasons we may have fewer styles based on the selections that we have seen. We simply want to bring you only the freshest looks, in our opinions, in terms of new styles, new cuts, new colors and every once and awhile…those Luna favorites that we may have seen in the past that we all love!
